Paying Collection Agency
I had started paying a collection agency ten dollars a month on a past due bill. I have only paid twenty dollars on the bill now they are suing me. I thought that if I was at least paying some on in they couldn't sue me. Can they.

Did you have an agreement to pay $10 a month? Have they actually filed suit against you or are they threatening to do so?
The best thing to do is to call them and see what is going on. They usually don't sue someone who is paying money to them. They will usually work out a payment plan with you.
