Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Arkansas

vacating a judgement

I need to know if there is a statute of limitations on getting a judgement

vacated in the state of Arkansas if the person that was sued did not get

served with a notice or court date. This person was not notified of the law

suit until after the court date, and was only notified of the judgement. Can

someone please help?

Re: vacating a judgement

When did you receive the judgment? How did you receive it? Did they send it regular mail or by a process server, or by certified mail?

You do need to get this done right away. I would need to look up the statute of limitations as to the exact time you have. Generally, they wouldn't issue a judgment without having shown that they gave notice. That may need to be looked into.
