Isn't there a law that prevents children to sit at a bar?

Re: Children at bars
Children can sit at a table with their parents in a bar. My memory is that they can not sit up at the bar. That would be governed by the State ABC laws so you could ask that agency or visit their website. Some bars do not allow anyone under 21 in because they don't serve food. There are two type of licenses, one for bars with food service and those without. Bars sometimes make exceptions for performers with children.
