Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
i have been accused of a crime i did not commit and a check cashing place gave a customer my personal information which the lady came to my home i have been trying to see if i have a civil law suit against the check cashing place ?? and how would i be able to go about this situation.. I have 3 children that have been affected by this please help thanks for reading

If you are charged with a crime as you indicated, you definitely need to hire an attorney. If you can't afford one, apply to the Public Defender. As to the store 'giving out your info', it sounds like an investigator for them, which would be allowed. If you find out different, then you can see if there are grounds for a claim.
