Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

auto accident

I'm in ca. I have won my case against the responsible party in small claims court. I pursued my property damages. Can I now pursue the responsible party's insurance co. for my bodily injury claim?

Re: auto accident

No. The insurance company doesn't owe you anything, they didn't do anything to you, and you don't have a contract with them. More importantly, when you elected to file in small claims, you waived any other claims you might have had against the defendant by filing only that property damage cause of action. You only get one case against the defendant, not multiple.
