Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

Video Survellience Cameras

In California, is it lawful to use Video Survellience Cameras at a business location, to deter theft and vandalism? Are there any privacy rights to keep in mind when videotaping our parking lot and facility?

Of course there are rules and rights that apply. If you follow the rules you can do it. Get actual legal guidance from someone in your area that can provide all the details and answer your questions on what you can and can't do, and what the risks are. Some are obvious, like nothing in bathrooms and changing rooms, generally. Feel free to contact me if serious about doing so, and if in SoCal.
