What is Said Notice, and what applies?

I am going to file a written request of transfer of courts, and I have to give a said notice to the plaintiff. What options count as a ''said notice''? Thank you for all your help.

Attach a completed proof of service to the written request, and have a friend or relative mail a copy to the other party's attorney or party. File with the court the written request with the attached proof of service.
