Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

volunary repo

I was unable to continue making payments on my Ford Expedition so I had it voluntarilly repossed. the finance company has already sold the car for $500.00, but I have been making monthly payments to the finance company for about 2 years now on the balance. I am trying to fix my credit, and was told by a debt management company that I should not have to pay on the deficiency balance. Is this true?

Re: volunary repo

You probably are liable for the deficiency. Talk to the creditor and see if you can resolve the issue to your satisfaction.
