Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Does Ebay have a right to charge me with violating Title 18

I had 4 open accounts with ebay and had one closed, because I did not pay a seller who sold me one broken item so I refused to pay for another. ebay suspended that account, and 5 mos later suspended all but one account, which I continued to use , buy and selling w/o incident, all of a sudden they close that one. I open a new one , they close it so I have my mother open an account, they close hers she opened another, they closed it, and its not even mine. ebay later tells me that I cannot register any accounts with them, i tell them it is my mothers account, and remind them why my account was suspended in forst place was not my fault. I know get a letter from them telling me they are pressing criminal charges as they claim I violated title 18 section 2C and a4, a5, unauthorized access ??? Can they do this, I mean they tell me to access to email them, it is not a closed or secure site , it is apublic site, in addition, not all of the accounts they said ar emine are mine, What should I do ??

EBay cannot charge you with criminal conduct. The most they can do is report your conduct to the federal law enforcement agencies. The federal attoreny would then review the facts and determine whether or not to proceed with criminal charges.
