what are the possible fines for marijuana posession in mono county,ca.

Marijuana possession is a matter of state law, not local law. Possession of under 1 ounce is a $100 ticket/fine. However, it is a misdemeanor and the case should be resolved so that conviction does not stay on the record. Possession of over 1 ounce can mean jail up to 6 months. Different punishment of course if one is being charged and convicted for possession for sale.
