Legal Question in Discrimination Law in California

Discrimination- Commercial Real Estate?

I own a building and operate a metaphysical bookstore out of it. Considering selling, I called a realtor who came, looked around and said that, based on his religion, he was uncomfortable. He asked if he could leave. Is that not religious discrimination?

Technically, refusing to list your property was discrimination, but what are your damages? Find a real estate broker who is more tolerant.

An unprofessional real estate agent such as you described could also draw discrimination lawsuits from prospective buyers. Good thing you are rid of him.
