Child Support

I have a daughter that will be graduating this year, and will turn 18 in june, do i have to pay child support to her mother past her 18th birthday even though she will be going away to college?

Your obligation ends when she has turned 18 and has graduated from H.S., unless you agreed in the judgment to pay for college.

No child support will be owed to the custodial parent after the child has turned the age of 18 yrs and has graduated from highschool. You may need to file a motion with the court to terminate a wage assigment order/or the wage garnishment if one is actually in effect to prevent future garnishment.
