Legal Question in Family Law in California

My ex-husband and I are going to court for custody and visitation. His Aunt is a lawyer and she has decided to work his case. I have been in contact with his aunt over the last few years. We occasionally email and have lunch and she visits with her niece. I have told her very personal things considering that she and I were family for many years. Is this a conflict of interest?

More information is needed concerning the discussions you had with your husband's aunt. If you spent time talking to her about things that would specifically relate to your family law case, then it would seem that there would be a conflict of interest.
