Grandparents rights

If the mother of a 12-year old child is on drugs & the grandmother turns the mother into CPS & the mother finds out, can the mother of the child deny the grandmother visitation with the 12 year old?

First CPS will most likely remove the child from the custody of mother. The child would then be placed in foster care. The preferred placement is with a family member. As the grandmother you would be high on the list of potential foster parents. Also your name should not be revealed to the mom.
