A dissolution of marriage means your marriage has ended, and you are now considered a single person who can married again. In some cases the court will bifurcate issues, and terminate status of the parties as a married couple, and reserve jurisdiction to rule on property issues later. The parties are not divorced until the court signs a judgment that terminates the marital status.

In addition to what Mr. Roach has written, you didn't indicate whether or not you are currently represented. It doesn't sound like that is the case. If you haven't come to an agreement regarding his 401k and/or his retirement, let alone spousal support due to a long-term marriage, then either the matter is being bifurcated, to get the status of your marriage ended, with the property issues to be determined later, or there is a trial coming up on all issues. You need to be sure what is actually going on, so that your rights are protected.
