Legal Question in Family Law in California

i live in nv, 3 yrs ago my husband had our children for a visit and refused to let me pick them back up, got a lawyer & filed for divorce in calif. i filed my response, in mediation we agreed on 50 50 custody of our 3 children. he then withdrew divorce papers & said he filed legal seperation papers. a yr & a half later he refiled divorce papers, i was never served or notified at all (we speek daily) so apparently he was given full custody by default. he then proceeded to wait another year & a half and just recently gave me a copy of the judgement i knew nothing about, and is refusing to let me bring the kids to vegas like we originaly agreed. what can i do or where do i start?

You start by immediately meeting with an experienced family law attorney to carefully review the pleadings that you referenced. If you were never properly noticed concerning the second divorce action, you should immediately go into court and ask for a set aside of the default.
