Legal Question in Family Law in California

Recently lost my job and need to modify child support. Will I still have to pay child support plus 1/2 daycare and medical expenses?. I have my daughter 15% of the time cause mother moved 50 miles away. I currently don't have car or license due to past DUI prior to daughter being born. I will need the little bit I get in order pay rent and other expenses.

Calculation of child support in California is driven by a support formula created by legislation. The primary influences on the calculation are parenting timeshare and the incomes of the parties. If you've suffered a job loss and a reduction in your income, your support should go down if you modify support. Please meet with an experienced family law attorney to explore your legal options.
