Can My Wife Just Take The Kids?

My wife is threatning to take the kids. Does she have legal right to do so? Could I do it also? What can I do to protect the kids from being taken. I don't want to come home one day and find them all gone.

Either parent may take the children when there is a separation. That parent often ends up getting custody. If you want to prevent this from happening you should consider filing a case and asking the court for a custody order. There is free and low cost help in every county. She still may end up with custody and be allowed to move out and take the children with her but at least it won't be so scary for your children.
