Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

Thanks for the reply. I know the I797 Receipt number and its Validity details (From XX to YY). Also, planning to send the Visa stamping and I94 copy with that. My Resignation letter copy too. In the meantime, i have requested my company for a copy of I797. But, there is no response from them.

For an L-1 visa, USCIS sends one copy to the Petitioner & another to the Beneficiary or Attorney of Record. So, your attorney (or the company's attorney) is obligated to send you the approval notice that has the detachable I-94. If they don't, I would file a complaint with the State Bar.

For an L-2 (dependent), USCIS sends the approval notice directly to the Beneficiary.

Hope that helps.
