Legal Question in Insurance Law in California
autu accident compensation
My car was hit by a company van with only minor damage done. Company admits fault ,but will only write check to the auto repair co. Can I demand that check be made payable to me. I would rather have the money; maybe I`ll fix the car maybe not. My choice?

You can request that the check be made payable to you and sign a release for the damage claim in the company agrees.
