Legal Question in Insurance Law in California
Was Hit and Not Insured
Someone backed out a parking spot while I was waiting in line for gas. A police officer was stopped at the same gas station and saw the whole thing and the man who hit me said to him, '' I know it was all my fault..totally. I just didn't see her.'' The officer did not take a report though. He gave me his name, number and name of his insurance company. I however, am uninsured. Will this affect my getting my car fixed, even though it was not may fault?
