Legal Question in Employment Law in California

abuse of saleried managment

I work at a fast food company. If we have more than 10 cars go over 8 min in the drive thru or more than 4 guest complaints in a month the salaried managers are made as punishment to work 10 extra hours for the company. Is this legal? It's more like slavery and unrealistic.

Re: abuse of saleried managment

You may have a claim for unpaid overtime as many are managers in name only so as to avoid the overtime laws. Contact me directly.

Sounds like there are several issues here one of which is probably a wage claim.

Feel free to contact my office if you would like to discuss this matter.
