Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Is there any case where the employment contract was not renewed because the employee had an inappropriate interaction with other people at work - raised his voice inappropriately according with other people around him- while this employee was on prescribed prednisone - a steroid- that can have side effects like mood swings, depression and even psychosis. Can the employer just look at the effects of this drug and not renew the contract without considering that the drug can cause that? Any cases like this in California or any other state?

If you have an actual written employment contract, its specific terms define the rights of the parties, including the grounds for renewal / non-renewal / breach / termination / etc. Without one, in CA you are an 'at will' employee that can be fired any time for any reason. You have described 'inappropriate' behavior, which would be grounds for discipline or termination in anyone's book. Lame excuses for it would not change that.
