Sure, unless you are covered by company policy guarantying at least as much leave time as you are on. If you are off longer than that, or don't follow reporting rules, you can be terminated. Also, if you are on leave under the terms of the Family Medical Leave Act, then you have some protections. If fired in violation of FMLA, contact me.
