Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Employees required to room with other employees on business trips

Is it legal to require employees to room with other employees while on a business trip? If it is allowed what responsiblity does the employer have for what goes on? If it is not allowed what laws govern this?

If you are suggesting that the company mandates unrelated male-female room sharing, it is asking for a lawsuit. If that is your problem, feel free to contact me. Same gender sharing would be probably be ok, as a financial issue.
