being fired

If a person gets you fired from your job because they do not like you. can you sue that person

Possibly. In large part, it depends on the motive.

However, many lawyers will not take such a case because there is little likelihood to obtain a recovery large enough to make a lawsuit worthwhile.

You can always consider small claims court, if you can prove the person tried to get you fired for an unlawful purpose.
