how is general workplace harrassment defined and how would this apply to a full time employee who is paid on a comission basis

Employer conduct, or fellow employee conduct which is tolerated by the employer, which creates a hostile working environment such that it adversely affects your ability to work, can be unlawful, if the reason for the harassment is because of race, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, disability, union activities, or religion. If the bosses just treat people badly, and not because they are members of a protected class, the harassment is not illegal. The only remedy is to find a better job.
