Legal Question in Employment Law in California

When I was hired, my employer offered myself and fellow associates an extra hour of pay in return for working 8 hours and not taking a 30 min lunch, only two fifteen min breaks we agreed and signed a paper stating this. Apparently, the company has decided to no longer honor this agreement and will be having us take the 30 min lunch and no longer pay the extra hour. This will cut my monthly pay by $250.00. Is the pay cut legal? Or has a reasonable level of expectation been established by the company?

The law prohibits the 'agreement' you had, so the employer is well advised to return to legal 8 hour days, paying you the proper hourly rate.
