Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Hostile Workplace

I have been forced into disability by the hostile action(s) of my supervisors at work. I am employed by a california county hospital and under a union contract. Four grievances filed have been basically ignored. I have followed Civil Service Rules for grievances through the head of HR, who dismissed my complaints. I was sent to an EAP, who documented the hostile environment and through Kaiser and over 12 weeks of counseling. Do I have any legal recourse? How can I find a skilled attorney?

Re: Hostile Workplace

Hello. It is possible that you have a legitimate claim for hostile work environment and infliction of emotional distress among other claims. I would have to know more details in order to assess your claim.

I assume you work/live in Merced.

If Sacramento isn't too far for you, get in touch with me so we can discuss this matter, as I spend 3 days a week in Sacramento.

Thanks,

Arkady
