Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I was layed off due to the lead mechanic calling me a stupid fucking mexican. They claim there is too many mechanics on duty.We had a meeting regarding the company dealing with him,but no answer yet.

Sounds like you may be the victim of a wrongful termination under the California Dept. Of Fair Employment and Housing (FEHA) for a Code violation based upon race/national origin. You have one year from the date of the violation to file online notices of claim and complaint with FEHA.
