Legal Question in Employment Law in California

loosing job

Hi.I have this problem.I ask for a transfer to another work place, the same company, same job, and my reason is,that one of my co-worker has something personal against me and doing things against me.So i can't work with her.My manager told me,that he has to send this paper to the Human Resources and told me that maybe i will loose my job, because HR can fire me because i have problem with other employee. My Question is: It is possible that i can loose my job, just because i requested for transfer with personal reason? And another question is: Is in the USA(California) state law, that on workplace i have to speak english to other employee who is from the same country as me and our mother language is different than english and our talking doesn't affect business(my work)? When i'm talking with other employees i'm using of course english.Could you please help me as soon as possible?I' will appreciate it.Thanks a lot,bye

Re: loosing job

Most California employees are at will and can be terminated with or without cause unless by doing so the employer violates legally protected rights. More information will be required to determine whether your rights have been violeted.

Employers generally may not impose an English only rule. If you have been damaged by such a rule you may have a claim.
