Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I've had a motion for dismissal of our case filed, mostly with defendants sighting what they believe to be our apparent not-prosecuting the case. We disagree with this, and have had to fire our previous attorneys given the lousy job she was doing. But the question we have is what do we need to do, to prove to the court, and give ourselves the best shot at preventing judge granting their motion? I believe we need to file memo of opposition, but please help with sorts of procedure and references we should make to give ourselves a good shot of being able to continue prosecuting the case!

Get a new attorney to file Opposition explaining the facts, and to appear for you. If you don't get counsel, then do it yourself.
