Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Pay Missing

I recieved my pay check, but it was missing 9 hours of pay plus 5 overtime hours. I contacted Human resources and they stated that they would add it to my next check, but I recieved my next check (2 weeks later) and the pay was still not there. I called again and they said it would take a while...But my question is, is there a time limit they have for getting me that check?(it has been 3.5 weeks now) Also what if anything am I owed besides my normal pay?

Re: Pay Missing

Labor Code Section 204 (c) provides that corrections are to made on the next pay check and clearly identified with the pay period the corrected hours were worked. Labor Code Section 210 provides a civil penalty of $100 for each failure to pay up to $200 for subsequent or willful violations plus 25% of the amount not paid.
