Legal Question

Lease Contract Issue

My wife co-signed for her son to lease a car in California.

We live in Texas. He can't uphold the payments, and they want to repo. What is the worst that can happen to her/us

as far as our credit, should they repo? They can sue us,etc.? We plan to build a house in three years. My wife is scared to death abut what can happen.
