Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Can an Indian reservation be sued

Two months ago I was with my family and we went to an Indian casino. When I got to the door I was asked for my ID and I gave it to the door person.

She then told me i was to drunk to enter witch was a joke because i had only had a beer with dinner. So I asked for her name and to speak with a supervisor so i could leave a written complaint. The door opens up and here is three of the biggest security guards i have ever seen .one of them got ruff with me and dislocated my shoulder.I have to have surgery now what can i do?

Re: Can an Indian reservation be sued

You can sue the security guard in tribal court. You can try

to sue to tribe, or the casino, but most likely they will assert

sovereign immunity. I don't think you will last long in court if

you sue in State or Federal court.
