Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

rights

do i have any legal recourse against a personal injury civil

suit?(supposedly brought on by a minor accident) the insuurance company lawyer feels the claimant is fabricating his injuries. insurance paid out $600 in property damage to his bumper due to the accident. claimant will not settle for my policy limit..$30,000.

Demand the insurance company hang tough and make them go to trial, but either way you risk a personal judgment against you for anything over your $30k policy limit. The other guy can do anything he wants, and doesn't have to take your policy limits. He will have to prove his damages to a jury, not easy.

You need your own personal attorney to evaluate this and see about getting it settled, seeing if insurance company did anything wrong, etc.
