Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Saved Foreclosed Home?
A judge has entered a final judgement of foreclosure on our home, with a sale date of April 3rd. Is it still possible to save our home by filing bankruptcy...or is it too late?
Thank You so much for your help...I am feeling quite hopeless at this point.

Yes, filing a Chapter 13 would put an immediate stop to the foreclosure action and give you time to reorganize and enter into a payment plan with your creditors. Good luck.

You must file your chapter 13 before the sale date or it will have no affect.
