my ex-girlfriend it trying to take my daughter away and also trying to change her last name so she no longer carries mine. what can i do to proove to the court that i recognize my daughter and how can i get half or shared custody of my child?

In court, Establish paternity and file for shared parental responsibility. If you want primary residential custody you may find it tougher. Best bet, if you afford it is talk to a family law practioner where you live.
If you are serious, it is well worth the fee.

You need to file a paternity case to have the judge establish all issues regarding the child.
