Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Father in need of Help

My duaghter was born here in FL in 1996 my ex-girlfriend took her to IL in 1998 by telling me she was going on vacation when in fact she moved over there. In 2001 she moved back to FL with my daughter, her boyfriend and son. Now it is 2003 and on Jan. 8th I was contacted by my brother that she was moving back to IL. This time I was she didn't even tell me anything I didn't even get to see my daughter. I have tried to contacted her by cell phone & left messages but she will not return my phone calls. Please I need to know what my rights are? How can I get joint custody & my daughter back in FL.? My daughter is 6 she will be 7 in July I have already missed out on three years of her life and I do not want to miss out on any more years. Can she do this? She is destroying my daughter's life she has even intrupted her school. Thank-you a desperate father...

Re: Father in need of Help

You should contact an attorney to help you with this matter. Before anyone could give you an answer they would need to know if you are on the child's birth certificate, and if you are paying any child support.

Contact an attorney. Your situation is too serious for this forum and a consultation is needed.
