Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My ex has filed a motion to modify my son who is 4 child support, because he has a hardship. But not his older son's from another marriage which is 16. Can the court also make him modify his other child support from his other marriage. since he is claiming he is in such a hardship?

He does not have to file as to both kids, that is his choice.
