Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have been married for 6 and a half years but I have been separated for more than 2 years and my wife lives out of state. When we married, she had a child and during the course of our marriage she cheated on me, had another baby, and even put the bio-father's name on the birth certificate. I lived with her a little bit after she delivered and then we split apart. She is out of state of Florida now and she does not want to cooperate for our legal separation. I do not even now the children's social security numbers to enter in the petition for dissolution of marriage. We don't have any property or assets.

File a petition for divorce, you have to use a locator service to try to find her and have her served. After that if you cannot find her then you can publish notice and get divorced that way. Contact my office for free consultation. 727-446-7659

Florida has jurisdiction to dissolve the marriage but cannot decide the issues of visitation, custody, child support, alimony , etc. There is no proceeding for legal separation.
