Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

private school

If divorce papers say that ex has to

pay for half of all that I'm out for

school extras does that mean I can

get half of what I'm out monthly for

my sons private school tutition?Ex

is asking what I'm wasting child

support and alimony on.Since he is

paying 2000.00 per month to me.

He is asking this to our 16 yr old son.Ex has new family with 2 step

sons now.Remarried 3 days after

the divorce was final.After 26+ yrs

he is upset that he has to pay perm alimony.What can I do to shut him up over the way I spend

this money.Believe me I am not wasteful.I pay house,car,utilities,

food,etc.I don't have extra left over

from the 2000.00 he pays me to

do anything.How can I keep him from telling my son,I send her 800.00 a month for you,what is she

wasting it on?HELP ME SHUT HIM UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He has to pay whatever is required of him in the final Order. How you spend the money is mostly irrelevant so long as the child support is spent largely for the benefit of the child.

Unfortunately you can not "shut him up" he can say or ask most anything he wants. You can ask him to stop discussing these issues with your son, but that will probably not help.
