Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

employment termination

I believe I was unjustifiably terminated when errors by

another department manager created a problem for me.I pointed out the problem on three seperate occasions.meeting werw held and the manager was told to correct the problem,

he did not.No owner follow up took place until the second time I pointed out ther problem still continued to exist.

After the third time I brought it to owner attention I was terminated and told I should not have let it happen. Where do I stand?

Re: employment termination

Did you have an employee contract? There is no requirement that notice be provided that you are being terminated or cause. However, depending on the specific facts of your case, certain federal and state protections do exist ie discrimination, unlawful labor practices etc. Do you think there were any underlying motives for your termination such as sex or racial discrimination?
