Facing eviction because of pet

I been living on a rental unit for more than 3 years and my puppy dog for less than a year on september of last year my landlord received a letter from the homeowners association saying the some neighboors had seen my dog without his leash and relieve himself on the hallways. I spoke with my landlord over the matter and i told him my dog doesnt relieve himself on the common areas then he told me he will speak with the association and tell them it was not my dog but the cats and ducks the live inside and around the complex so i tought the issue resolved then now the association send an eviction letter because the same neighboors are still complaint the my dog is relieving himself on the common areas when it could be someone else dog or the cats or ducks what can i do?
