Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

A shopping cart had me pinned between my car and it about 55 days ago. Since I wasn't bleeding
although it hurt like h_ _ _ . I did not call the police to file a report because I did not know to do so b
The cart fell on me when the man who works for the store was retrieving carts out of the parking lot
and he pushed it on the grassy mound next to my car. So, as I turned to open my
car at the same time he was pushing the cart up on the mound I turned my back to unlock my car
and the cart lost it's footing and fell on me.
I did filled out a store accident report and was seen by a doctor.
My question: Is it too late to file a police report and could you represent me in this matter?
