Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Assessed value of property

When I bought my house the city's assessed value was $124,675.00. The city had no paperwork stating that my property had a sinkhole on it. Now that they know(my doing) the value has gone down sharply. Can I go back on the broker/owner of my home? It is not worth what he had stated.

Re: Assessed value of property

The short answer is yes. If the broker and/or seller knew of the sinkhole and did not disclose it to you, you may have a valid claim against them.
