Traffic stop

What are the rights of a citizen who may be in fear for there safety on a traffic stop. For example the stop is in a remote location and there is unpleasant history with the stopping officer?

You have to stop for a law enforcement officer. In some jurisdictions you can call a certain number on your cell phone to verify that an unmarked vehicle is a police officer, but you have no right to ignore a marked car.

Failure to stop could result in a charge of fleeing and eluding a police officer.
