Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia

Breach of Privacy

My boyfriend works at the bank and a customer that works at an airline researched his info and contacted him via text message. The customer continues to contact him via text. Is the airline responsible and what can be done as far as filing a claim?

Re: Breach of Privacy

Your boyfriend MAY have a claim against the airline. However, there are specific facts that must be proven and it IS LIKELY TO BE a very difficult case. He should see an attorney who can sit down to obtain all the facts and who can explain any potential claims.

Of course, your boyfriend can always seek a protective order and sue the person individually.

This response does not create an attorney-client relationship and all responses are based on the paucity of information provided in the original post. The disclose of more facts may change this answer.
