Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

child support and paternity

while I was married i had 2 children with my wife, the last one isn't mine and i still signed the papers at the hospital giving him my name. we got divorced and i pay her childsupport for those 2 children, i want a paternity test on the last one, if it is proven that he is not mine, will i still have to pay childsupport or not, and will i be able to have visitation with him or not? if he is mine, can she get my rights as his father taken away because i questioned paternity?

Re: child support and paternity

You probably are going to be stuck with support for the second child, but you probably will also be entitled to visitation. Consult with a local attorney.
