Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

child visitation

My grand child is 3 years old( living in Georgia). What is the criteria for long overnight visits with her father who is living out of state ( he moved to Pennsyvania) and has not visited or called her regularly since the divorce ( when she was 1 1/2 years old)? Also; he is a truck driver and has said it is OK to take her for 2 weeks while he is driving the truck. My daughter really wants him to have visitation but feels the child is too young for that and also long term visits. He does not seem to understand that she needs to get used to him for short visits over time. He is also very irregular with child support but we know this is a separate issue from visitation.

Re: child visitation

It depends on what the court order says. You didn't post that information but both parties must abide by it.
